More Love, Less Ego (Review)
A Masterpiece!
He is everyone popsy for a reason!
It has been less than 24hrs since Wizkid dropped his anticipated album “More Love, Less Ego” and less than 24hrs since we got blessed with good music.
Wizkid has mastered the art of delivering unique sound with good production and a sexy pen game. He did it with Made in Lagos and he has done it AGAIN with More Love, Less Ego.
The album kicked off with the lyrics “Nobody like me” in Money and Love which indicates literally that there is no one like him!
As usual, every good piece of music needs time and patience to grow just like the time and patience the artist spent while working on it.
Out of the 13 tracks released in the album, I have at least 13 favorites… 😂

Flower pads is a drug. 2 Sugar took quite a while to grow on me but it eventually did and I’m loving it. The mixture of both their angelic voices.
Personally, I am in love with the intro of “Everyday” “I am grateful. To have been loved. And to be loved now. And to be able to love because that liberates, love liberates. It doesn't just hold, that's ego. Love liberates” Listennnnnnn it speaks to me.
The mixture of the afrobeat sound and the western sound in this album is surreal. I’m sorry but not everyone can do that lol.
You see how he has writing credits on all the tracks? AYODEJI IBRAHIM BALOGUN. I love me an artist that writes their song!!
Unlike Made in Lagos which was bashed and heavily criticized on its first day of release but still ended up being the longest and highest-charting African album on the billboard chart. More Love, Less Ego has received quite a low amount of criticism. It is surprising and quite “uncomfortable😂” to see. Because everything he does always receives an insane amount of criticism and hate. This is how you know the album is a masterpiece, I tell you that!
In reality, they would have spent days or months drawing think pieces or getting hit tweets on how terrible an artist BigWiz has become... I’m guessing they all learned their lesson after MIL did great on the chart. (Lol, this is me being petty… I can’t help it, sorry😭)
BIGWIZ - An artiste that has been in the game for 10yrs and is still ruling in his craft, both at home and abroad. He knows what kind of magical genius he is and he shows it every single time.
It is lovely to see that BigWiz has found his sound and he is excelling in it. it is so beautiful to see him explore and experiment with that sound.
Those that get him, get him! Those that don't, don’t!
He has found his target audience and nothing else matters.
We hope MORE LOVE, LESS EGO clears the charts and breaks more records so he can get his accolades like MADE IN LAGOS did because this is a masterpiece.
