The cough that comes after eating bounty!!! I can relate!!!! Lool Omoo growing up in an african home is never easy o, they warned me from boys and all, that they must not see me talking to a guy and me I decided to follow girl😂 I didn’t even know that was worse… Long story short; in secondary school a friend of mine introduced me to another friend of hers in another school and that one was a lesbian, one thing led to another she confessed love to me, omoo we even kissed 😂 my aunty stumbled on my chats with the girl, wo they beat that spirit out of my body, I can never forget the experience, my dad even went to her school to report her. And me I told them that since they said I shouldn’t follow boys, I thought following girl was good😂😅

LMAO. This is way worse than mine. But honestly, parents need to teach their kids what love is and not just create some weird rules. I hope our generation would do better.

Honestly, it doesn't work that way. Those beatings have their own positive impacts, the current generation of teenagers need it 💯

Yeah, I know but whether we like it or not, beating is still an abuse and it creates emotional fear on kids. There are better ways to teach a child. LOL. This is a topic for another day.

Not at all B, there's this Yoruba saying that "When you beat a child with left hand, you use your right-hand to draw him/her closer" the logic cure is to cure the said emotional buhaha

Lol, but does it work for everyone? African parents don't really know how to use their "right hand to draw the kids closer" it's always, "come and take this meat" and we've normalised this that we don't know it affects our lives and relationship with people.

😂😂 you see that "come and take this meat" is actually what they meant by "draw close with right hand". They all have different methods unless the wicked ones that usually brought the wicked dudes and bitches. I'm not saying beating alone is the key but part of the needs. Sho get? 🌞
